I am willing to bet good money that leftist sites and bloggers will extol the virtues of Ahmadinejad and his benevolent regime. Stay tuned for the tally! Freed British sailors to fly home in time for Easter the Daily Mail: "Freed British sailors to fly home in time for Easter"

    Hi Whig!

I would have lost--big time. But what suprised me more than anything was that I couldn't even find a leftist blog that even blogged on the release of the soldiers!

What would you have had me blog about it? The United States is in the unfortunate circumstance of having no moral authority to speak against their mistreatment, because your president authorized and caused torture to be committed.

Furthermore, I cannot say anything which in my judgment would raise the opportunity for a purported cause of war to be claimed, when this is only a minor border dispute at best and the prisoners were safely returned home.

I wouldn't consider your blog a leftist one :) A little to the left, a little liberal, a little socialistic, but not Fabian.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.

In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
