: "JERUSALEM (AP) -- Condoleezza Rice let out a heavy sigh when asked Saturday whether as a single woman with no children she had difficulty appreciating the ramifications of war. It's a topic that has inflamed the Internet and talk radio in the U.S. since a Democratic senator challenged the secretary of state's personal stake in the Iraq war."
HAS ANYONE HEARD ANYTHING FROM THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN ON SENATOR BOXER'S COMMENTS? HELLO? HELLO??? |

Hi Jack,
Why so much importance to such minor issue? Condoleezza Rice is very cunning women who lied and attacked anyone who opposes Bush policies when they were enjoying the support of majority of US population. Now the the majority has turned the otherway and Democrats who go by the polls see this as an opportunity to attack Bush and his cabinet. How Condoleezzza Rice sleep at night peacefully knowing that her lies had killed hundreds of thousands innocent people?

If she weren't from California, she would have thrown in the "L"-word. What a quack. I guess that means that Boxer will vote against funding any war President Hillary wants to engage in since she doesn't have a son of her own, unless Chelsea enlists, that is.
On the other hand, I do think service to one's country in the military is preferable to none at all. Of course, that means great men like Abe Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and John Adams wouldn't have led this great nation as well as they did. Indeed, I don't believe that the 19th century's "Bushes/Kennedies", John and John Quincy Adams, ever served in the military, so I could be wrong.
Which leads me to the final qualifier: men only. Otherwise we get touchy-feely socialists/communists that think everything should be kinder and gentler, Margaret Thatcher notwithstanding.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
