AWKWARD "TRUTHS" |

OF COURSE DANA BASH OMITTED ANOTHER AWKWARD TRUTH - THAT THIS DEMONSTRATES THAT DEMOCRATS ARE NO BETTER THAN REPUBLICANS ARE. HOW DID YOU MISS THAT ONE DANA?
Dana Milbank - In the House, Suddenly Righteous Republicans - washingtonpost.com: "It fell to CNN's Dana Bash to point out the awkward truth. 'You can play back, almost verbatim, Democrats . . . saying almost exactly what you all just said,' she said. 'So is there a little bit of hypocrisy in you saying that you want minority rights?'" |

Helen, for the last week I have posted anything and everything I could to get a rise out of anybody--anybody! My blog stats indicate I get 30-50 indigenous hits a day, but no one is saying anything! (Notice my post about Nancy Pelosi being suited to be "speaker" of the House)ha!
Oh well, a friend of mine mentioned that it may have to do with the intended Snipet tone--that with the sarcasm dialogue is not invited--people either comment when they agree or run screaming from the site. ha! Of course this may be the case. Think I should tone it down a little? It would be a whole lot less fun...

P.S. Just wanted to mention (of course I think you know anyway) what I am trying to do with the latest posts on the other site. I am trying to communicate in the end that no matter what happens in the world, we have life, love and security in the one we serve! An amazingly wonderful and positive outlook never based on circumstance but on promise. I didn't exactly want to come out and say that until the end... :)

oops, it should have been "role"--Gee whiz, spellcheck doesn't do everything for us does it? :)
in all reality, the news snipet has always been a storage device for articles i found interesting and wanted to archive or keep. i guess that's most of the reason that it should not be taken very seriously at all.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
WARNING! With due reverence to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment there is NO comment policy on the News Snipet.
