ITS ONLY CENSORSHIP WHEN THE REPUBLICANS DO IT |
Thursday, September 07, 2006 |
My Way News: "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Amid an election-year debate over who can best defend America, U.S. congressional Democrats urged ABC on Thursday to cancel a TV miniseries about the September 11 attacks that is critical of former Democratic President Bill Clinton and his top aides." |

Hi Helen!
I think by now you understand my opinion of politicians in general. Republicans are hypocrits because they really want to be Democrats, while Democrats are hypocrits because its all about politics and power and they rarely practice what they preach.
On the issue of the film, no one hardly has seen it, but everyone is reacting because President Clinton did. President Clinton's administration is no different than any administration we have had in the last century--it was full of vice, corruption and back alley deals. This is the way of American politics and people should just as consistently point out wrong in one administration as in another.
As a Christian I seek truth before anything else, (party loyalty, etc.) I am no fan of President Clinton (a fallible human being just like me) or President Bush (ditto:)
As far as the issue of 9/11 and the blame game, it can be put on the doorstep of every president since Carter. Every president we have is culpable, and it this show happens to promote that, then it will probably be true.

P.S. If Clinton had kept his mouth shut (and the panicked Democrats) then no one would have probably watched the film. Don't they learn the lesson of The Passion or the Da Vinci Code?

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
WARNING! With due reverence to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment there is NO comment policy on the News Snipet.
