Gore warned hundreds of U.N. diplomats and staff about the perils of climate change.
CIGARETTE SMOKING 'SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTOR TO GLOBAL WARMING'
Yep, he said that. All he needs to be complete is a white sheet and a sandwich board and a frizzy do...
P.S. I don't agree with the insulting term used on this caption "Dullwitted Fool". That is disrespectful. I would replace it with"Environmental Fundamentalist". The rest of the caption is ok... |

Can you point me to where in Gore's speech at the UN he said that? I have it in front of me and I don't see a reference to cigarettes. Keep deluding yourself that global warming isn't an issue.

Come November are you going to vote for the party that protects pedophiles?

Hi Mochi!
I don't believe he said it in the speech. It is my understanding that it was prior to that when discussing the issue with them.
Global warming according to real scientists is a real issue, Mochi. But not the political one based on psuedo-science that the issue has become. First of all our sun will go through its natural cycle getting warmer until it becomes a red giant--it will then supernova like all stars wiping out everything in the solar system. Also, global warming is cyclical; peaks valleys. Many scientist believe that before the pre-Cambrian explosion green house gases existed in infinitely higher quantities than they do today--wonder if it was Union Carbide and GM contributing toward that back then, huh?
Global warming, global cooling--man can't stop it or start it--cycles are the way of things in this universe.
I'm not sure I understand your second comment though?
Hi Helen!
What was it that Hastert said?

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
