    Or consider giving an esteemed position within their church to, oh, say, a former Cardinal of the Archdiocese of Boston who tolerated the rape and molestation of dozens of young boys for about 20 years. What a benevolent institution they are.

    So sorry for the millions of good Catholics whose faith and trust has been desecrated by the pious Catholic Church.

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.


Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.


In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
