Oh for goodness' sake. "'Rep. McKinney appearing with the star of "Lethal Weapon"? Not exactly the message you want to be sending,' said Ron Bonjean, spokesman for House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill." Ignoring McKinney's "scuffle" for a moment, Mr. Bonjean is either a complete idiot or thinks that we are. Danny Glover, ubiquitous peace activist, is defined as violent by a role he played in a movie?!

EP, I was a little more embarrassed by the:
"A lawyer for Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the Georgia congresswoman who had an altercation with a Capitol Police officer, says she was "just a victim of being in Congress while black."

I know you were. ;-) I just picked up on the (slightly) less idiotic statement.
I've answered your questions at my blog--come on over.

I think there must have been a slight scuffle at McKinney's birth, and she got bumped on the head, leaving her with a permanently inflated sense of entitlement.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
