I found that interesting, as well. Not because of the church/state issue, but because of the people still living in TENTS on the Mississippi coast, still with no running water. I'm a believer in cleaning up any messes you make and helping wherever possible, but if I were still in the condition that some Katrina victims are, I'd be more than a little unhappy that the mosque was a higher priority than my family.

I heard nothing from Bush about rebuilding those churches burned in Alabama, did you?

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
