And the same to you Jack. What a year it has been! It was back in February that I was referred to the blogosphere and my life has been a ruin since- just kidding. This is where I come for my daily dose of news and insight/analysis, and it is nothing but educational and enlightening. I strongly believe that, in a world where you just cannot trust a thing you read or see anymore, this forum has kept me fairly sane and mentally balanced (can I trademark that without a lawsuit from Fox?).
Ive a feeling we are in for more of it in 2006. As far as I am concerned, Christmas does not end until January 6th, Epiphany, so continue to enjoy the holiday and the new year.

    Merry Christmas to you all!

Chickenhawk, some people near and dear to me observe Christmas by the Orthodox calendar, so "Christmas Day" is still almost two weeks away. Let the celebrations continue. :-)

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.

In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
