"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.

HAHAHA that was awesome Jack. I just got out of work on this Friday afternoon and this was the first thing I read when I got home. If only we had John Madden on scene in Iraq doing the analysis with a little incoherent babbling in there for good measure. But seriously, with all the talk about withdrawals, pessimistic and optimistic views, and being unable to ever tell what is going on over there, I wonder what stage of the game we are at.
Two more things here: why didnt Jon Ham mention anything about Bill Cowher's stupid onside kick that gave Peyton such a short field when teh "insurgency" was trailing? Momentum shift and a half for the Colts. And second, are the Colts justified in trying to go undefeated? When will we know?
.... just having a little fun with metaphors. Thought-provoking stuff here.
