FrontPage magazine.com :: Democrats vs. Christians? by Don Feder

FrontPage magazine.com :: Democrats vs. Christians? by Don Feder: "In an interview with NBC, Dean attempted to clarify his 'white Christian' comment, remarking that Republicans 'have the agenda of the conservative Christians.' And Democrats consider that nothing less than apocalyptic. For years they've been telling us that the GOP has been hijacked by wild-eyed Christian 'fundamentalists' who are intent on keeping women barefoot and (very) pregnant, returning America to the morality of the 1950s, and establishing a theocracy."

Are you arguing that the GOP is not run by Christian fundamentalists who want to force all Americans to follow (or at least be ruled by) the teachings of the Bible?

    Hi Kathy!

I think that both parties are run by fundamentalists of some sort who want to force all Americans to follow. Just a different set of morality, but moral legislation nonetheless. What do you think?

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.

In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
