DRUDGE REPORT FLASH 2005: "The announcer: 'A spoiled child is telling us our Social Security isn't safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here's your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of 4 gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little bastard. [audio of gun being cocked].'" |

Hi Lefty! Typical of extremists, not lefties like yourself! :)
Extremists advocate violence as a means of social or political change. I don't think we have come to that place in these United States.
Good to hear from you!

This is just an unfortunate testament to how disgusting the discourse in this country is. If you are against privatizing social security, that is ok. Now I am pretty liberal (also an advocate of neolibs.com fiscal conservatism), but I must say Air America horrifies me. I have listened to conservative talk radio; to me it has an audience because it has taken years to build and it is entertaining, people like opinion. I dont know the exact origins, but I dont think that conservative talk radio meant to destroy the leftist establishment as much as it did create a base and engage people and entertain them. Air America has done nothing of a sort, I have listened briefly but turned it off due to the ennui of listening to Al Franken; hate him or live him, the man can write and he should leave it at that. I dont hear discussions develop beginning with, "Hey I was listening to Air America today and ..." My feeling on it as that is simply irrelevant; I do not think it will ultimately hurt the Left's reorganization to win elections, but it is not going to help. As for the discourse in this country, it only contributes to undermining it. It is only as good as Ann Coulter or Michael Savage. You will listen, get disgusted, then realize no one gives a shit and you should just let them be. Unfortunate as it is, they are just better left ignored.

Have always appreciated your honesty, Chickenhawk! You're a good man!
Agree completely that politics today is all about destruction of individuals and creation of personal power. I think we are just witnessing the tip of the proverbial iceburg.
Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by, CH!

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
