MARKETING ABORTION |
Thursday, February 24, 2005 |
"Freedom of choice – a basic American right."
"Women must have control over their own bodies."
"Pro-choice"
"I remember laughing when we made those slogans up. We were looking for some sexy, catchy slogans to capture public opinion. They were very cynical slogans then, just as all of these slogans today are very, very cynical. We persuaded the media that the cause of permissive abortion was a liberal, enlightened, sophisticated one, knowing that if a true poll were taken, we would be soundly defeated, we simply fabricated the results of fictional polls. We announced to the media that we had taken polls and that 60 percent of Americans were in favor of permissive abortion." Bernard Nathanson, M.D., co-founder of pro-abortion vanguard group NARAL, (originally, the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws, later renamed the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League, just recently renamed NARAL Pro-Choice America), commenting about the early days of the abortion-rights movement in the late '60s and early '70s.
And of course, as with the recent fraudulent AP poll, we know that the abortion crowd continues to need its lies to support itself.
Truth exists; only lies are invented. Author: Horatius Bonar, D.D. |

Wow. Never read that quote before. Should the MSM report this?
It should up in neon over Hollywood, in fact.

Bug, this is the reason that so many people have been conditioned to react to abortion the way they do. It went from being extermination of a baby (or fetus) to a choice or human right.

I'm not really sure what point this makes except that people change their minds on volatile issues.
This man changed his mind.
Yet another person admits polls are fabricated and/or manipulated.
Should I be shocked or moved to change my own mind?
I guess if I was "personally responsible for 75,000 abortions", then I'd be feeling a little weary myself.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
WARNING! With due reverence to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment there is NO comment policy on the News Snipet.
