This question begs another question entirely: ARE cartoons being used as a venue for teaching our kids sexuality? Your poll makes it sound like there is graphic sex portrayed in cartoons, like some sort of sex ed aimed at 5 year olds. And since I don't think that cartoons are being used in this way, I can't cast a vote b/c all of your answer choices assume that they do.

I assume you are referring to the infamous tolerance video. I'm going to come at this sideways: I do not believe tolerance of homosexuality should be advocated in the same way as tolerance of race, disability, etc. are. I do not believe we should harass people for that choice, but I also beleive it is a choice. And therefore does not fall in the same class as racism, etc. As for the cartoons? I don't think they should be used in the manner I described above. Other uses? Maybe if parents want an aid for the Big Talk or something.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
