SUPER BOWL |
Friday, January 21, 2005 |
This year a 30 second spot to advertise on the Super Bowl will be $2.4 million dollars.
Wouldn't that money be better spent being sent to the Tsunami victims or making a down payment on the national debt?

WAS just kiddin', Right. All we have heard over the last two weeks from our liberal mainstream press was that the inauguration cost $40 million and "wouldn't that money best be spent on tsunami relief or to pay down the national debt?" whining...

Great point, JM. Nothing like a little satire to illustrate absurdity.

Well, um, *wouldn't* that money be better spent on tsunami relief? Let's see...monkeys and sock puppets vs. disaster relief...hmmm, tough decision.
Not that it's acutually going to happen, but hey, it really is a better use of funds!

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
