INAUGURATION COSTS
Tuesday, January 18, 2005
It truly disgusts me that $40 Million is going to be spent on the inauguration of President Bush. It truly disgusts most of the mainstream media too. However, where were they when Clinton was being inaugurated? And...where was their disgust?

It is just under half of what it is going to cost to let the expat Iraqis vote. At least some of the money is privately donated.

Bill Clinton's library cost a few bucks. Where was the outrage then?

Yet the media would have you believe this was undiluted sin.

Eh, like Bush or not. I'm kinda in the mood for a little celebration or the good ole USA. Even if it has to take place behind bullet proof glass.

Ah! Good to see everyone's getting my point.

(I thought I was being a bit too subtle here...)

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.

In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
