WHEN MEN WERE MEN
"The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent
in the people; that... it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I
advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the Body, it gives
boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind . . . Let your gun
therefore be the constant companion of your walks." Thomas Jefferson
WHEN MEN ARE NOT
"Firearms should be classified as WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction)" Gov.
Gary Locke D-WA
In medieval times the lords were the only ones with arms. That way the peasantry could be more easily controlled.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
WARNING! With due reverence to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment there is NO comment policy on the News Snipet.
