DOES IT MAKE SENSE?
Monday, January 31, 2005
Repeadedly professors have engaged in rhetoric (no, the recent University of Colorado incident isn't the first) that said that the 9/11 victims were not innocent and deserving of the incineration, dismemberment or long fall out of the Twin Towers. So far, none of them have gotten so much as a slap on the hand. Now a college student gets expelled for making a case for a kid being spanked in school? I don't get it?

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.

In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
