I do think people should have a right to their say, actually, and don't care what students do, if they pray or whatever in school -- let alone how they decorate, as long as adults don't exclude people of other religions, or force their views on others.... so there. Most people feel like this, but schools have a special purpose in our society, because they are part of our 'state' and that is seperate from a 'religion.' As we see in islam where we are battling fundamentalists, we do not want church and state to be one and the same.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
WARNING! With due reverence to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment there is NO comment policy on the News Snipet.
