Isn't it amazing that John claims to say that Republicans only want to spend "his grandchildren's" money, YET he tacks on his unnecessary amendment to every bill being considered in the Senate to CREATE a national boxing committee. For instance, the telecommunications bill, being considered in the Senate now, was held up because he wanted to SPEND "his grandchildren's" money on boxing - one of the most corrupt sports in AMERICA!!
People have to pay anywhere from $50-$75 to see a match, and it may be over in the first round and under 5 minutes; then they only have about 1 fight every 1 to 2 months. My question: is there enough to regulate that it takes more than one person?
Of course, if there a person who knows anything about corruption, it would be John!!! -- Stanley Truelove

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".
Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.
Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.
In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
WARNING! With due reverence to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment there is NO comment policy on the News Snipet.
