AN AMERICAN PROPHET

The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue; and if this cannot be inspired into our people in a greater measure than they have it now, they may change their rulers and the forms of government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty. They will only exchange tyrants and tyrannies. --John Adams, June 21, 1776

cogent point. Have you read Founding Brothers? Lots of cool quotes... but, what will we do for virtue if I am right, and the religon that has held us together is falling apart? Seriously, Jack, is there a virtue that can take hold without the whip of sin and the promises of heaven? I sure hope so... wish I could pray for as much, but... well, I have that whole atheist thing to consider.

"Snipet" (pronounced: snipe - it) is not a word.It is a derivative of two words: "Snipe" and "Snippet".

Miriam Webster defines Snipe as: to aim a carping or snide attack, or: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemy's forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage.

Miriam Webster defines Snippet as: : a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage.

In short, "Snipets" are brief, snide shots at exposed situations from a concealed vantage point.
